Despite a great performance by Jacksonville designated hitter Chris Ingram, the Bighorn Bison defeated the Pilots by the score of 5-4 at Arnold Field. Ingram went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. Jeremy Harris, now 7-1, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. This win makes it 5 in a row for Bighorn.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Bill Dunlap? The two-time All-Star Dunlap stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Bighorn up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Dunlap.
