Galdamez Excels in 9-6 Mexico City Win
Mexico City first baseman Leo Galdamez helped his team beat the Eureka Hornets, 9-6. Galdamez, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in triples with 6, went 2 for 3 for the Luchadores. Mexico City pitcher Josh Messenger got the win, upping his record to 7-1. Bobby Loscalzo got the loss. Ray Heck earned his 25th save, after closing out the game.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Luchadores grabbed the lead when Galdamez hit his 17th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Ryan Sartore made it 8-5, Mexico City.

Galdamez told a Mexico City Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.

The setback makes Eureka 82-49.
