Tim Northup, who is tied for 7th in the TML with a 7.0 K/9 rate, was locked in. The right-hander led the Milwaukee Millers to a 5-4 win against the Bighorn Bison at Ram Brewery Ballpark. The third-place Millers have won 4 straight.

Andrew Bruett had a big 2-run home run for the Millers in the top of the fourth inning. With Milwaukee leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a splitter from 34-year old right-handed pitcher Mike McMasters and punished it. The result was his 17th home run of the season, which put the Millers on top, 3-0.

"No one player deserves all the credit when you win," Bruett said. "And the same is true when you lose."
