The Cabo San Lucas Toreros defeated the Bighorn Bison, 7-6, in 11 innings in Thurman Munson League action at Field de Los Layendas. Cabo San Lucas pitcher Kirk Hojnacki had a standout performance. The win was credited to Jimmy Sherry in relief. His record improves to 1-4. Pat Henry took the loss. The Toreros sport a record of 42-71.

The Toreros got a clutch hit from designated hitter Matt Yardley. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Toreros.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Hojnacki.
