Victor Lara, who finished 2nd in the RCL in strikeouts with 166 in 2063, had a strong outing for the Dallas Texans against the Chicago Eclipse at Millennium Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-2 win. With the win, the Texans improved to 55-77.

Dallas used a clutch at-bat from Dean Hrusovsky to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Texans ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Hrusovsky attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
