Quebec beat Montreal on the strength of starting pitcher Jamie Clark's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. The Armada, at 50-61, sit in last place in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

Fred Sersch had a big 2-run home run for the Armada in the top of the first inning. With Quebec leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Aymeric Chili and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Armada on top, 4-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Sersch told the Quebec Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
