Conditions were not ideal but Cabo San Lucas and Mexico City were able to put their game in the books.

Cabo San Lucas turned a good effort from starter Jason Goodrich into a win over the Mexico City Luchadores at The Royal Grounds. The Toreros won the game, 4-2. In 6 innings, Goodrich surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. He allowed 1 run. Andy Carr nailed down his 21st save.

Dennis Allen, who finished 3rd in the TML in triples with 7 in 2062, had a direct impact on the outcome. Allen contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put Cabo San Lucas up, 3-1.
