The Quebec Armada stymied the Montreal Mounties, 6-2, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Josh Davey had a good day at the plate. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Quebec. John Tuck got credit for the win, improving to 6-11. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 7 innings. Quebec is now 64-65, while Montreal is 76-53.
Jung-hoon Yoon had a big 2-run home run for the Armada in the bottom of the second inning. With Quebec leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a splitter from Warren Foradori, who finished 4th in the TML in wins with 16 in 2062, and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Armada on top, 3-0.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Yoon told the Quebec News. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
