Espinoza Lifts Bison to 13-8 Triumph
The Buffalo Bison used the hitting of second baseman Jose Espinoza to subdue the Mexico City Luchadores, 13-8. For the game, Espinoza was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Buffalo reliever Gary Halliwell picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Miguel Arroyo absorbed the loss. The 4th-place Bison sport a record of 55-55.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Landon Michaels was at the plate when Buffalo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Bison to go in front, 8-7.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Michaels.
