Houghton right-hander Chris Crawford helped his team edge Buffalo by the score of 3-2. Crawford kept the opposing lineup in check. The second-place Gremlins lifted their record to 58-52.

In the top of the sixth, Houghton third baseman Geoff Raines gave his team the lead. With no one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, RCP2059 hit his 27th double of the year. Buffalo pitcher Ben Molter surrendered it. With that, the Gremlins jumped in front, 2-1.
