Blazers Pull Out Late-Game Win, 3-2
In a low-scoring tilt between the Bloomington Blazers and the Hawaii Honu, Mario Solis, who finished 2nd in the TML in ERA with 3.20 last year, was the difference-maker. The Bloomington left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Bloomington reliever Mario Solis got the win, raising his record to 13-6. Karl Molnar was tagged with the loss. Bloomington leads the Thurman Munson League East Division by 3 games.

Josh Neuner came through with a big-time hit for Bloomington. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I liked his command," said Bloomington manager Scott Andrews. "Mario was throwing strikes."
