Eclipse Grind Out 2-1 Win
The Chicago Eclipse got a magnificent effort from pitcher Victor Aguilar, who kept Havana hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Eclipse win at Millennium Field. The win was credited to 27-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Soria in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Ricky Mora took the loss. By defeating Havana, the third-place Eclipse improved to 67-60.

Had Sean Martineau not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Martineau hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Eclipse.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Havana manager Taylor Hillary. "We just didn't cash in."
