Toreros Get Extra-Inning, 8-7 Win
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros in 10 innings downed the San Francisco Earthquakes, 8-7, at Golden Gate Park. Ron Mulhollan led the way, going 4-for-6 for Cabo San Lucas. Jim Kirby earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 2-5. The last-place Toreros have a record of 40-68.

Chance Reber came through with a big-time hit for Cabo San Lucas. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 8-7. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Mulhollan.
