Chicago left fielder Jim Bolger had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Bolger was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, even as Quebec beat the Eclipse, 7-5. Quebec is now 48-59.

Adam Rufer came through for Quebec with a 2-run double in the bottom of the third. The left fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 runs batted in.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Rufer told the Quebec Citizen.
