The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners topped the Eureka Hornets, 12-9, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Eagle Rock second baseman Carl Farley was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The Hornets fall to 6-8 and continue their sputtering start to the 2064 season.

The decisive blow was delivered by Victor Gonzalez in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a grand slam home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Murphy to win the game for Eagle Rock. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was a pretty good night," said Farley.
