The Cabo San Lucas Toreros snuck past the Montreal Mounties, 4-3, in 11 innings. Cabo San Lucas pitcher Justin Dietrich, in particular, had a standout performance. The loss makes Montreal 74-50.
Cabo San Lucas got a game-changing hit from Ron Mulhollan. The second baseman blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
"This wasn't a good win," said Dietrich. "It was a great win."
