Huntington Station Defeated By Honu, 4-2

The Hawaii Honu dumped the Huntington Station Ramrods, 4-2, in large part due to left fielder Aaron Gross. On the day, Gross was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Honu. The winner was Carlos Avila, who threw 100 pitches over 6.1 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 5 hits. Stephen Chivers was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 1 of 1 save opportunities.
