Yardley, Toreros Too Much for Jazz
|
Matt Yardley knocked in 4 runs to help Cabo San Lucas beat Montreal, 9-2. Yardley produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Cabo San Lucas currently is in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division at 43-62.
Yardley contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Cabo San Lucas in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Yardley took a sinker from Sam Hickey and stroked the home run to right. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Toreros to leap in front, 2-1.
