The Houghton Gremlins got an exceptional performance from starter Trace Yeadon, who silenced the Loachapoka offense en route to a 5-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the Divisional Series today. The Junebugs could never get a bead on the right-handed Yeadon, who threw 9.0 innings of shutout ball. The Gremlins now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Yeadon pitched a complete game for Houghton. The right-hander, who calls Brampton, Canada, his home, racked up 9 Ks, while allowing just 1 hit. Junebugs hitters could not touch his fastball -- nor any other pitch, for that matter.

"I try to take on every game as if it is the most important of the season, so I don't feel like anything's different now," Yeadon said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Loachapoka Camp Meeting in Birmingham.
