Bloomington got a terrific game from designated hitter Josh Neuner. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Bighorn, 8-6, in 10 innings. Neuner went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2. With the win, Bighorn has a record of 60-60. Bloomington falls to 72-49.

Bighorn used the timely hitting of Jay Starr to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Bison on top, 8-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Bison manager Carlos Esparza.
