If the Chicago Eclipse were expecting the pressure of the playoffs to get to Ruben Cahue, they underestimated the old man.

The Bloomington Blazers got a strong start from the 38-year-old left-hander. Cahue threw 9.0 innings of 8-hit ball as Bloomington won the contest 7-3 at Millenium Field to take the lead in their best-of-7 series with the Eclipse. The Blazers now lead 2-1.

Cahue went the distance for Bloomington. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 0.

"Good win for us," said Cahue. "Now we'll focus on the next one."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Millenium Field in Chicago.
