de la Torre Blasts Mounties, Blazers Take Game 2, 7-5
The Bloomington Blazers defeated the Montreal Mounties, 7-5, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was shortstop Dave de la Torre, who went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win moves Bloomington into a 1-1 tie with Montreal in the series.

Harry Cronin, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2057 draft, helped out the Bloomington cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the center fielder went 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Bloomington manager Leo Dethwright said.

Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Mount Royal Grounds in Montreal.
