The Buffalo Bison have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Kansas City Tornadoes, winning, 12-8, at Debris Field. Bison catcher Landon Michaels went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Bison to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Divisional Series.

Buffalo used the hitting of Connor Gaudet to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bison on top, 5-3. For the game, Gaudet had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Michaels.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Debris Field in Kansas City.
