Divisional Series Game 1 Victory for Meyer and Bloomington
The Bloomington Blazers powered past the visiting Milwaukee Millers, 7-3, in the opener of the Divisional Series at Arson Arena today. Bloomington starting pitcher Brad Meyer threw 9.0 innings of 5-hit ball, to lead the charge. The Blazers now lead the series 1-0.

Meyer went the distance for Bloomington. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, while striking out 16 and walking 3.

"Coach said he wanted eight innings, so I decided to do him one better," Meyer said later.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Arson Arena in Bloomington.
