Blitzed by Jimenez, Jazz, Blazers Sink Further in R2

With right fielder Tony Jimenez leading the charge, the Montreal Jazz got a road win over the Bloomington Blazers, 7-4, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Jimenez went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 at Arson Arena to help Montreal take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
There was more than one reason the Jazz beat the Blazers, but Jimenez's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Jimenez.
Game 3 is scheduled for Wednesday at Stade Claude Raymond in Montreal.
