Dallas third baseman Chris Hogg contributed significantly to his team's 8-4 win over the Havana Stogies. Hogg went 3 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Texans. Victor Lara, the winning pitcher, is now 9-15. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 3. The 'W' lifts Dallas's record to 54-66.

With one out in the top of the seventh, Josh Guerriero had a game-changing hit. The Texans right fielder slammed a 2-run single off Ricky Mora, making the score 5-1, Dallas.
