Chicago Win to Pull Even With Milwaukee
The Chicago Eclipse topped the Milwaukee Millers by the score of 6-3 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the Wild Card Round today. The largest share of the credit belongs to Chicago starter Ken Blais, who threw 7.0 innings allowing 3 runs in the win.

Chicago needed the clutch hitting of Kevin Sample to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Eclipse on top, 4-3. For the game, Sample had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Sample said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Mandalore Complex in Milwaukee.
