Loachapoka Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Loachapoka Junebugs defeated the Hawaii Honu, 3-1 in Game 3 of the Wild Card Round today. Doing his part was starter Logan Evans, who threw 8.0 innings of 1-hit ball. The win moves Loachapoka into a 2-1 lead in the series.

Evans, who was born in Christiansted, Virgin Islands, threw 122 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing 1 run.

"We're feeling good about this," said Junebugs manager Dylan Light. "We have got an advantage now and we just need to keep the pressure on."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Loachapoka Camp Meeting in Birmingham.
