The Huntington Station Ramrods and the Dallas Texans will take the Wild Card Round to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation, the Ramrods beat the Texans, 8-5, at Metroplex Park to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Huntington Station left fielder Dean Hrusovsky went 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles.

Danny Ortiz, the Huntington Station designated hitter, contributed a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to make the score 6-2, Ramrods. For the game, Ortiz was 1-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Ortiz.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Metroplex Park in Dallas.
