Huntington Station Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1
The Huntington Station Ramrods have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Dallas Texans, winning, 5-2, at Station Center Yard. Ramrods right-hander Ben Benson threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Ramrods to 2-1 in the best-of-7 Wild Card Round.

Huntington Station took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Brian Matter hit a run-scoring double to make it 2-1, Ramrods.

Matter called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Station Center Yard in Huntington Station.
