Dallas Extends Series Lead in Low-Scoring Affair
The Dallas Texans got a strong performance from pitcher Trevor Bowe, who stymied the Huntington Station offense en route to a 2-1 win in Game 2 of the Wild Card Round. The Ramrods could never get a bead on the left-handed Bowe, who threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The Texans now hold a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Texans had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fifth, when catcher Jim Anderson hit a solo home run. The home run came off Al Fernandez and made the score 2-0, Texans. Anderson went 1 for 3 with a home run.

"Trevor pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Dallas manager Gary Stoy.

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Station Center Yard in Huntington Station.
