Behind the bravura of first baseman Danny Douglass, the Bighorn Bison topped the Dallas Texans by the score of 6-3. Douglass was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs for the Bison. Bighorn pitcher Elias Zuniga earned the win, hiking his record to 3-5. Andrew Shackleton suffered the loss.

The Bison got a gift in the top of the third inning, when they were leading 2-1. With one out and the bases loaded, Nelson Cruzlopez reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 3-1, Bighorn.

Douglass said his team "played with a purpose."
