Carrollton had no answer for 20-year old left-handed pitcher Henry Barahona. The Rosewell Tribbles starter stymied Rangers hitters, helping the Tribbles cruise to victory, 7-0. Barahona got the win, improving to 10-0. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 7.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Rosewell is now 68-19.

Charlie Francis had a big 3-run home run for the Tribbles in the bottom of the second inning. With Rosewell leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a slider from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Benno van der Vlist and punished it. The result was his 17th home run of the season, which put the Tribbles on top, 5-0.
