The Savannah Peaches and Rosewell Tribbles played an entertaining game for Martin Field patrons.
Rosewell got a terrific game from second baseman Charlie Francis. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Savannah, 5-4. Francis was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jay Ocker sewed up the save, his 16th.
Amir Morgan drew 2 walks for Savannah. The 19-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Roberto Reyes. It was his 71st walk of the season.
"Very good win for our guys," said Morgan.
Savannah has run its win streak to 4 straight.
