Pellot goes 3-for-5 to Fuel Bison Offense
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Buffalo Bison and Montreal Jazz.

The Buffalo Bison easily defeated the Montreal Jazz, 13-4, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, with center fielder Danny Pellot a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Buffalo. The Bison move to 54-48 with the win, while the Jazz drop to 51-51.

With Buffalo leading 10-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Pellot came up to bat against Montreal pitcher Steve Herring. Pellot hit a fastball to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season put the Bison on top, 13-3.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Pellot told the Buffalo News. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
