Gotzone Olvera imposed his will on the Larvae from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the left-hander spearheaded the 6-0 Sedona triumph. The victory gives the Sabercats a record of 54-28.

Olvera was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 6-2. In 8.1 innings of work, Olvera gave up no runs on 2 hits, while striking out 12. The Larvae were never able to generate much offense.
