Daniel Calo was outstanding against Victoria. The right-hander had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Timbers 3-2 win. Despite the win, the Timbers have a lousy 26-51 record.

Oconto Falls got a clutch hit from Joaquin Maldonado. The first baseman launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"I felt good out of the gates," said Calo.
