The Eureka Hornets got a strong performance from pitcher Harley Lowrie, who stymied the Cabo San Lucas offense en route to a win, 3-1, at Field de Los Layendas. Eureka leads the Roberto Clemente League Central Division by 8½ games.

Lowrie ran roughshod over the Cabo San Lucas lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 7. With the victory, he goes to 12-5 on the season.
