The Rosewell Tribbles got a superb performance from pitcher Andres Parra, but the Victoria Totems still won the game, 5-4. Parra threw 5.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Luis Alvarado picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Rodolfo Loa suffered the loss. Justin Oakley closed it out for his 2nd save.

Ricky Velazques went 1 for 3 with a walk for Victoria. The 19-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Manny Alvarez. It was his 49th walk of the season.

"We were the better team," crowed Velazques.

The Totems now own a record of 30-45.
