Timbers Rack Up 5-3 Win Versus Paradise Island
|
The Oconto Falls Timbers picked up a win at Predator Park, taking down the Paradise Island Pirates, 5-3. Starting pitcher Jason Huber was a big reason why. The Timbers are now 25-50.
Oconto Falls won the game in part because of Chris Mohrman. The third baseman ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Timbers ahead, 3-0. For the game, Mohrman had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"Jason definitely kept his composure, kept making pitches," said Oconto Falls manager Jorge Murillo.
