|
German Silva had a hand in Paradise Island defeating Sedona by the score of 7-4. Silva went 4 for 5 at the plate, scoring 2 times and driving in 2 runs. Paradise Island pitcher Robby Barbosa got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Mario Correa got the loss. The Pirates, now 55-19, have won 10 in a row.
Sean Russo aided the Paradise Island cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the first. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.
"I believe in our guys," said Paradise Island skipper Jorge Ávila. "I like the energy they're playing with."
