Starting pitcher Mel Rocha pitched well enough to help the Oconto Falls Timbers beat the Normal Nutcrackers, 6-3. The Timbers, at 36-40, have now won 4 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Daniel Garcia in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 19-year old left-handed pitcher Steve Carpenter to win the game for Oconto Falls. The home crowd went nuts.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Garcia said in his postgame press conference.
