The Paradise Island Pirates beat the Wichita Storm, 2-1, in 13 innings. Paradise Island pitcher and Saco, Maine, native Kyle Phillips led the way. The second-place Pirates have won 7 straight games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Justin Camp in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Acosta to win the game for Paradise Island. The home crowd went nuts.

"This is a very good team," said Camp. "We have the chance to do something special."
