In a low-scoring affair between the Sedona Sabercats and the Oconto Falls Timbers, pitcher Gotzone Olvera was the difference between victory and defeat. The Sedona left-hander earned kudos in the 2-1 Sabercats win. The Sabercats bumped their record to 49-23 with this win.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Nate Sawyer? The Sedona first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Sabercats on top, 2-1. For the game, Sawyer had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
