Larvae Earn 11-10 Win Against Rangers
Due in part to center fielder Steve Sheridan, the The Stinging Larvae chopped down the Carrollton Rangers, 11-10, in 10 innings. Sheridan went 2-3 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Stinging reliever Celestino Gobbi picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Ernesto Martinez was saddled with the loss. Ricky Esqueda closed it out for The Stinging, earning his 7th save.

Diego Bahena came through with a big-time hit for The Stinging. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 11-9. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"There's no quit in this team," said Larvae manager Jose Correa.

The third-place Larvae improved to 38-30.
