A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Bighorn Bison and San Francisco Earthquakes.

The Bighorn Bison met little resistance from the San Francisco Earthquakes, beating them, 12-2, at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Tom Clingan led the way. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs for Bighorn. San Francisco has now lost 4 in a row.

The Bison got a big hit from third baseman Chris Crofts. Facing San Francisco pitcher Jeff Agin in the bottom of the seventh, Crofts pounded a grand slam home run to right-center. His 9th home run of the season put the Bison ahead, 12-0.

"Nothing to write home about," San Francisco manager Zayar Adelabu said, when asked afterward about the game.
