Armadillos Bludgeon Freeze, 15-2
Spirited fans greeted the Minneapolis Freeze for their clash with the Amarillo Armadillos.

The Amarillo Armadillos pasted the Minneapolis Freeze with a convincing 15-2 defeat at The Ice Box. Noah Chadick was a prime factor in the Amarillo win. He went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Nicolas Lambert went 8 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the TAAA with a 6.5 K/9 rate, struck out 11 and walked 3. With the win, he's now 5-12 this season.

Amarillo used a clutch at-bat from Danny Sullivan to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Armadillos ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Chadick, "one at-bat at a time."

The defeat makes Minneapolis 89-72.
