In a low-scoring contest between the Minneapolis Freeze and the Indianapolis Ambition, Mark Walsh, who leads the TAAA with a 3.51 ERA, proved to be the difference. The Minneapolis right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Freeze win. By defeating Indianapolis, the first-place Freeze improved to 88-71.

Walsh gave Minneapolis a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-3 right-hander permitted no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.

"Mark -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Freeze manager Ben Jeffcoat. "He was the key to us winning."
