Racers Show Nerve in Tight 10-9 Win
The Bowling Green Racers turned back the Minneapolis Freeze, 10-9, at Top of the Hill. Zach Jackson, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 6. Karl Molnar snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-5 on the season. Mike O'Neil suffered the loss. Bowling Green, now 84-74, holds down 4th place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Danny Caldwell in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off fireballing right-hander Mike O'Neil to win the game for Bowling Green. The home crowd went nuts.

"This wasn't a good win," said Jackson. "It was a great win."
