The Huntington Station Ramrods racked up a win at Copps Park, bumping off the Manhattan Slice, 5-3, in 10 innings. Willie Borrero, who started for Huntington Station, pitched effectively for his team. Huntington Station reliever Ben Benson picked up the win to move to 4-9. Mario Mirabal suffered the loss. The win makes Huntington Station 37-64.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Michio Matsumoto came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Manhattan pitcher Mario Mirabal, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Huntington Station on top, 4-3.

"It was terrific getting this win," Matsumoto said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
