Bighorn Squanders Great Game by Andrus
The Vancouver Pioneers withstood a fine game by Bighorn right fielder Riley Andrus at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, to upend the Bison, 10-7. Andrus hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Kenny Poor recorded the save, his 19th. The defeat makes Bighorn 62-56.

The Pioneers got a big hit from right fielder Mitch Delagrange. Facing Bighorn pitcher Austin Gray in the bottom of the sixth, Delagrange pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 16th home run of the season put the Pioneers ahead, 10-2.

"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Delagrange told the Vancouver Observer.
